Spring Fresh Your Home
As soon as the tips of the tulips break through the ground, or the buds start to blossom on the trees, we get a feeling we want to bring the freshness of spring into our homes. We can go to the local store and purchase candles, sprays, diffusers, and other pretty cannisters that make our homes smell like anything from apples to orchids, lemons to lilacs, or vanilla with a hint of sage. There is no limit to the scents we have available to us. But why not make our own "Spring Scent Spray"? It is a great DIY project and money saving too.

Here is what you will need:
3/4 cup distilled water
3/4 cup of white vinegar

Make Your Own Spring Scented Linen Spray
Now that you have freshened up your entire home you may want to also add some fresh scented spray to your linens. This one is just as simple to make.
You will need:
2 cups of distilled water
2 tablespoons of Vodka
15-20 drops of lavender oil
A spray bottle.
You can also add some lemon or peppermint for added fresh scents.
These are my favorite recipes from "homescentsory.com" for making my home smell fresh and clean for pennies on the dollar. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
